ABOUT THE FRAME
When you visualize cat-eye glasses, you probably think of chunky, bedazzled frames in bold silhouettes inspired by the 1950s. Don’t get us wrong — we adore a classic cat-eye! But the Vevey frames, with their delicate and lightweight titanium construction, offer an exciting new take on this classically retro shape. Touches of brightly colored celluloid acetate on the top of the rims and the temples pay tribute to the cat-eye’s always-funky personality. The combo of durable titanium and stylish acetate makes these frames comfortable, lightweight and easy to wear, but also gives them strength so they withstand your everyday life. Vint & York’s stylish cat-eye frames are made in Italy but designed in New York City by a dedicated team of fashion-forward creators. When you order them with your prescription, our team crafts your lenses in our own in-house lab for the best possible optics.
Available colors: Pink, Matte Gold
Measurements for VINT&YORK glasses can be found printed on the inside of the temple arm. Most eyewear brands print these details in a similar spot; if you already have a pair that you like, you can compare measurements to see how a certain frame of ours will fit you.
Fits: Narrow to medium face
Lightweight titanium frame
- Premium hinges and components for maximum durability and comfort.
Single vision lenses are needed if you require correction for one field of vision, either distance or near vision (reading). Vint & York’s lenses consist of premium quality polycarbonate Rx lenses. Protective coatings such as high quality anti–scratch and anti-reflective coating are included in all of our lenses. Polycarbonate lenses are strong and impact resistant, making them safe to wear.
If you want to receive frames with no Rx, you have two options. Optical frames will include anti-reflective polycarbonate lenses when you choose the option “I plan on wearing blank lenses”. The option “I plan on replacing the lenses”are recommended if your optician or doctor plans on replacing the lenses. Those lenses would be a demo lens or plastic.
