Shipping

Is Shipping Free? When will it be shipped?

Shipping is free on any domestic order, whether you’re buying one pair of vintage frames or a bunch of them. (Just FYI: The time it takes to mail them to you is the same, even if you order several pairs.) Prescription lenses take approximately 3-5 business days to process. Higher prescriptions and prescription sunglasses take approximately 5-7 business days to process. Progressive prescription lenses and progressive prescription sunglasses take approximately 7-10 business days to process.

Do you offer expedited shipping? Where else do you ship to?

Expedited domestic shipping is available if you need your frames ASAP.

Three-Day shipping is $25; Two-Day shipping is $35; Next-Day shipping is $49. Nevertheless, the delivery times don't apply for weekends and holidays. At this time we are not able to offer expedited shipping for international orders.

Where can I get my shipping information?

We will email you your package’s tracking number, so you can stay updated about when your order will arrive. You can also use the tracking form to check on your package delivery.

Returns

We want you to be completely satisfied with the eyewear purchased from Vint & York and strive to make the return process as easy as possible.

All US returns are free of charge and subject to our return policy listed below.

We offer a 15-day money-back guarantee for most of the orders placed through vintandyork.com*.

If you would like to make a return, please login into your customer account. You will have an option to select the order from there and generate a prepaid return label**.

All merchandise being returned must be in its original condition.

We will process your refund within a period of 2-5 business days. Your credit card will be credited with the full amount once your refund has been approved.

After a period of 15 days (when the returns window has expired), all sales are considered to be final.

All Sale and Clearance items are final sale and not eligible for return.For all international returns, customers will be responsible for covering the costs and fees associated with return shipping. This particular returns policy for Vint & York is only applicable to online purchases.

All purchases made in-store (our retail location at) are considered custom orders and are final sale. Full return policy is posted in the store.

* Glasses fitted with Photochromic, Progressive and some other types of custom lenses are not returnable.

1. What does my purchase include?

When you order frames from Vint & York, your purchase includes high-quality eyeglass frames, single-vision polycarbonate lenses with UV coating, anti-reflective coating, anti-scratch coating. It also includes free shipping and free returns.
All purchases are covered by a 1-year limited warranty.

2. Do you offer progressive or bifocal lenses?

At this time, we are happy to offer Premium Progressive Lenses - available with most of our optical frames. You can customize your lenses options during the checkout process.  Vint & York uses HD digital free-form progressive lenses that are custom made for each customer considering their prescription specifics, the frame they chosen and other factors.

3. What payment methods do you accept?

You can pay for your purchase with the following methods: Major Credit Cards, Apple Pay, PayPal, Amazon Pay, QuadPay, FSA/ HSA Accounts connected to the Credit Card.

4. How Does QuadPay work?

QuadPay is a convenient way to pay for your purchase. It allows you to buy now and pay later. It splits your purchase amount into four installment billed to your credit card every two weeks without interest or other fees.

Approvals and reviews for purchases are handled by QuadPay and are beyond our control. If your order is not approved please contact QuadPay directly for more information.

5. How do I purchase multiple glasses with different prescriptions?

It’s easy: After you place the frames in your cart - start completing the checkout and you will be prompted to enter the prescription for each of the frames.

6. How long will it take for me to receive my finished prescription eyeglasses?

Most orders leave our facility within 3 to 5 business days, plus the time it takes either FedEx Ground or USPS Priority to deliver your order. (Expedited domestic shipping is available if you need your frames ASAP.)

7. How does your warranty work?

We provide our customers with a 1-year limited warranty from the date of purchase on all frames purchased through our site. This warranty covers normal wear and tear of the frames. Lenses, hinges, and nose pieces are not included under this warranty. If you decide to fill your lens prescription through a third party, this voids our limited warranty. All warranty inquiries should be directed to [email protected]

8. How do Vint & York frames compare to brand-name frames?

The quality of our frames is comparable to the high-priced brand-name frames you see in eyewear boutiques. We handpick the materials for our hipster, retro, and geek glasses for men and women and use only the highest quality celluloid acetate and nickel-free metal. Our designers choose the unique color combinations and textures and are not afraid to apply new materials to the classic timeless styles. All frames feature reinforced temples for comfort and to allow for frame adjustment for custom fit. Our materials are eco- friendly and animal-friendly. We don’t use the real wood or real animal products.

9. Is the PD (Pupillary Distance) measurement necessary for prescriptions?

It is not necessary for reading glasses. However, it is needed for prescription glasses. If you do not know your PD, we can measure it for you during checkout. All you need is a web cam and a standard-size credit card with magnetic strip to keep the image on certain scale. Once the pictures are taken, our opticians will measure your PD using our precise method.
